More than 40 Albay-based entrepreneurs will be showcasing their craftsmanship and creativity at the Sa’Od Albay Trade Fair 2025 to be held from November 19 to 23 at the Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City.
Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Albay Provincial Office, the fair serves as the province’s flagship promotional event showcasing the creativity, resilience, and innovation of local enterprises.
The initiative also aims to strengthen the MSME sector by creating opportunities for market expansion, inclusive growth, and rural job generation.

The fair features a diverse range of Albay’s finest products, including handicrafts, food items, pili-based products, fashion pieces, and other locally made goods. It provides a valuable platform for entrepreneurs to reach a wider market and further promote Albayano craftsmanship.
“Albay is home to exceptional artisans and world-class, proudly local products. We aim to highlight the entrepreneurial spirit and resilience of Albayanos through this trade fair,” said DTI Albay Provincial Director Noel B. Bunao.
Provincial Director Bunao also expressed optimism that MSMEs can achieve their sales target of more than ₱10 million during the five-day event.
He affirmed that the DTI remains steadfast in its commitment to empowering MSMEs by equipping them with the right tools, training, and market exposure they need to thrive.
“Trade fairs like Sa’Od not only celebrate our local identity but also reinforce our mission to uplift communities through sustainable enterprise development,” he added.

Participating MSMEs dropped off their products at FAST’s Full Service Outlet in Legazpi. These were picked up and delivered efficiently and safely to the trade fair venue, ensuring that product quality was well maintained to be enjoyed by the public.
“Our partnership with Bicol MSMEs is built on mutual trust and a shared commitment to elevate local enterprises. We believe that by working closely with our entrepreneurs, including those from Albay, we can open more doors for growth and strengthen the region’s presence in the national market through cost-efficient, reliable logistics,” said FAST CEO for Logistics Manuel L.
