ROSARIO, Cavite — Love often begins in unexpected places.

For Khen Khurlo Delos Reyes Berin, 25, a call center agent, and Bernadette Garcia Cawitan, 24, their story started not in a traditional setting, but on TikTok in November 2023.
At first, their interaction was casual—short chats and lighthearted exchanges. But as days passed, those conversations stretched into late nights filled with laughter, comfort, and emotional healing. What began as a digital connection slowly grew into something deeper and more genuine.
By December 2023, they decided to meet in person. Their first encounter was simple yet meaningful: a food park in Cavite City, with plastic chairs and modest meals. Nervous but hopeful, they confirmed that the feelings nurtured online were real. That meeting marked the turning point, transforming their virtual bond into a tangible relationship.
On February 27, 2024, Bernadette said “yes” to Khen’s proposal. It was not just a promise of romance, but of responsibility and partnership.
Their commitment became even more significant when they discovered they were expecting a child. Despite challenges and public judgment, they chose to stand firm together, embracing the roles of husband and wife, and soon, parents.

Today, Bernadette—five months pregnant—stood beside Khen as they sealed their vows through “Kasalinas,” the mass wedding program of Rosario, Cavite, officiated by Mayor Jose Voltaire V. Ricafrente. Surrounded by other couples, they pledged to face life’s uncertainties hand in hand.

Their journey proves that true love is not afraid of responsibility.
In a fast-paced digital world where connections often fade, Khen and Bernadette showed that some relationships are destined to endure—from TikTok to the altar, and for a lifetime. #END
