DASMARIÑAS, Cavite – The University of the Philippines–Dasmariñas (UPD) is set to transform into a modern Technology and Innovation Campus, rising within the University Town (UTown) district of Villar City in Dasmariñas.

The new campus is envisioned as a major center for education, research, and industry collaboration in Southern Luzon. It will strengthen technology-driven and research-based learning, equipping students and researchers with advanced knowledge and skills to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving world.
UP Dasmariñas also plans to establish strong partnerships with local and international industries, creating a dynamic ecosystem for research, training, and real-world applications.
As the anchor institution of UTown, the UPD campus will be part of a 150-hectare master-planned district designed to be Metro South’s leading hub for education, innovation, and modern living. The district integrates universities, commercial establishments, residential areas, co-working spaces, and lifestyle centers into a walkable, highly connected community.
Dasmariñas is already home to prestigious institutions such as De La Salle University, Emilio Aguinaldo College, the Technological University of the Philippines, and National University. With the addition of the UP campus, the city further cements its reputation as the University Capital of Cavite. #END
