MANILA — Aboitiz Economic Estates and Aboitiz Land’s Ajoya Cabanatuan captured top honors at the 2026 Philippines Real Estate Awards, taking home the titles of Best Industrial Developer and Best Masterplanned Development, respectively.
The awards recognize Aboitiz’s industrial and residential projects for their focus on economic activity, employment, community development and long-term growth.
Aboitiz Economic Estates, which was named Best Industrial Developer, develops and operates smart and sustainable industrial-anchored townships. The company has a reported 2,000-hectare footprint with 260 industrial locators, generating more than 100,000 jobs across Southern Luzon and Central Visayas.
Farrah Nina Mayol, senior assistant vice president for corporate communications and branding at Aboitiz Economic Estates, said the company’s approach to industrial development is anchored on investment, infrastructure and job creation as foundations for building more complete communities.
Meanwhile, Ajoya Cabanatuan was recognized as Best Masterplanned Development. The 19-hectare residential community combines homes with open spaces, greenbelts, pocket parks and other amenities.
Walkways connect key areas, including the Town Plaza, to promote accessibility and walkability throughout the development.
The homes, designed in collaboration with Buensalido+Architects, incorporate elements of Filipino architectural traditions, including influences from the Bahay na Bato, into contemporary residential designs.
The two awards reflect the range of Aboitiz’s real estate portfolio, from industrial estates supporting businesses and employment to residential communities designed around the needs of families and residents. #
