MANILA — Several local government units suspended face-to-face classes on Saturday, September 5, due to inclement weather caused by the southwest monsoon (habagat).
In Metro Manila, all levels in both public and private schools shifted to alternative delivery mode in Caloocan, Navotas, Valenzuela, Malabon, Marikina, Quezon City, Mandaluyong, Pasay, Manila, Taguig, Parañaque, Las Piñas, and Pateros.
In Cavite, Naic also implemented alternative learning mode for all levels, while in Batangas, Calatagan and Nasugbu followed the same suspension.
In Laguna, only college-level classes were shifted to alternative delivery mode.
Authorities advised the public to stay alert and monitor further announcements.
