QUEZON CITY — The old “Mt. Kamuning” footbridge along EDSA has been replaced with a newly constructed Kamuning Footbridge, a modern and more pedestrian-friendly structure designed to improve accessibility and commuter convenience in the busy Kamuning area.
The new footbridge features elevators and wheelchair lifters, making it easier for senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and other commuters to cross the major thoroughfare safely and comfortably.

Aside from improved accessibility, the bridge provides direct access to the EDSA Busway’s Kamuning station platform and a dedicated connection to the MRT-3 GMA-Kamuning Station, allowing commuters to transfer between transport systems more efficiently.
The Kamuning Footbridge and Busway Station project has a total cost of P87.3 million, with P54.7 million allocated for the construction of the footbridge and P32.6 million for the rehabilitation of the busway station.

The project was undertaken by a joint venture of Unimasters Conglomeration Inc. and Dragonhart Construction Enterprise Inc. Construction began in October 2025 and was completed in February 2026.
The upgraded infrastructure is expected to enhance commuter mobility and safety along EDSA, one of Metro Manila’s busiest transport corridors. #END
