MASBATE CITY — Mt. Bulalakaw in Barangay Sinalongan, Masbate City is gaining attention as an emerging destination for nature lovers and tourists.
A site inspection and assessment were recently conducted to ensure the area’s safety and support sustainable ecotourism development.
The initiative was led by Masbate Provincial Governor Atty. Ricardo T. Kho and City Mayor Atty. Ara T. Kho, together with PBM Kris Espinosa, chairman of the Committee on Tourism.
The Masbate Provincial Tourism, Culture and Arts Office, City Tourism Office, CDRRMO, Barangay Sinalongan officials, and TUPAD beneficiaries also took part in the assessment.
The effort aims to protect Mt. Bulalakaw’s natural environment while preparing the site for safe and responsible tourism. #
