TAGAYTAY CITY, CAVITE — The food scene in Tagaytay gets a new flavor as Mango Tree Thai Grill, the latest concept from the internationally recognized Mango Tree restaurant group, opens its doors along General Emilio Aguinaldo Highway in Maharlika East.
The new dining destination brings the vibrant street food culture of Bangkok to Tagaytay, combining smoky Thai grilled dishes, flavorful street skewers, refreshing drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere complemented by views of the iconic Taal Lake.
At the heart of Mango Tree Thai Grill is a menu inspired by Thailand’s diverse regional cuisine, featuring exclusive dishes that are not available at other Mango Tree and Mango Tree Cafe branches.
Among its highlights are Thai street skewers grilled over a traditional Thai clay pot, or anglo, charcoal burner, giving the dishes a distinct smoky aroma and rich flavor.
The menu features innovative creations such as Crispy Morning Glory, Grilled Pompano, Tom Yum Bulalo, and Sai Oua, alongside Thai favorites including Thai Spring Rolls, Phad Thai, and Satay.
The dining experience also extends to its beverage and dessert selections, with Thai-inspired cocktails, Thai beers, refreshing drinks, and creative desserts such as Thai Turon, a fried mango sticky rice creation, and Thai Halo-Halo.
For guests looking for an all-day meal, Mango Tree Thai Grill also offers a Thai breakfast menu, including Kor Moo Yang Rice Plate, featuring grilled pork neck served with garlic fried rice, and Thai Congee or Jok.
More than just a place to eat, the restaurant aims to capture the lively and social character of Bangkok’s streets.
Its casual and unpretentious setting is designed for guests to eat, drink, share food, and unwind while taking in the Tagaytay view.
The restaurant can accommodate up to 164 guests across three floors, with 84 seats on the first floor, 36 on the second, and 44 on the third. Parking is available on-site, and the establishment is wheelchair accessible.
Walk-ins are welcome, and reservations are not required. Customers may pay using cash or major credit and debit cards. The estimated price range is ₱800 to ₱1,200 per person.
Mango Tree Thai Grill is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, although operating hours may change.
The restaurant is located along General Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Maharlika East, Tagaytay City, across from Petron and beside The Lake Hotel Tagaytay.
