CAVITE, Philippines — A woman listed as a Regional Level Most Wanted Person was arrested in Cavite for alleged involvement in qualified trafficking in persons and violations of child protection laws.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Grasya,” a resident of Bacoor City, who was apprehended on Tuesday, September 8, in Barangay Panapaan 4, Bacoor City.
Authorities said the arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 111 in Bacoor City on May 13, 2026.
The suspect is facing two counts of Qualified Trafficking in Persons under Republic Act No. 9208, as amended by Republic Act No. 10364, as well as violations of Republic Act No. 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
Police said the suspect is currently under custody at the Bacoor Custodial Facility, and no bail was recommended for the charges filed against her.
