ROSARIO, Cavite – This Valentine’s Day, couples in Rosario can expect more than flowers and chocolates, as the Grand Tau Gamma Phi Fraternity will once again distribute free condoms in the town.
For the second year in a row, the fraternity is launching its Valentine’s initiative themed “Balutin Mo Ako ng Iyong Pagmamahal,” (Wrap Me in Your Love) aimed at promoting responsibility and safe relationships among couples and young people.
Organizers said the distribution will take place on February 14 in selected busy areas of Rosario where couples traditionally gather to celebrate the occasion.
Alongside the free condoms, fraternity members will also share short reminders and information about the importance of protection against unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
“Ang tunay na pagmamahal, may kasamang pag-iingat. Hindi lang puro kilig – dapat may kaakibat na responsibilidad,” said Vryce Velasquez, Chairman of TGP.
The fraternity expects a large turnout, noting that Valentine’s Day is one of the most celebrated occasions in the town. For them, the day becomes more meaningful when it comes with awareness and protection.
This Saturday, amid roses and sweet messages, the fraternity hopes to deliver a different kind of reminder about love — one that is safe, responsible, and truly wrapped in protection. #END
